On Monday, January 26, 2026, the M.I.O. Mangalore came together across two facilities to honor the 77th Republic Day. From clinical experts to administrative leaders, the team stood united to celebrate the nation's democratic values and their shared mission for a healthier India.

The celebration at the Pumpwell facility began with a warm welcome address that set the tone for the morning.

  • Flag Unfurling & Keynote: Mrs. Rachana J, Pharmacist at M.I.O. Pumpwell, led the flag unfurling ceremony and delivered the main Republic Day speech, eloquently connecting the spirit of independence with the responsibility of healthcare service.
  • Medical Leadership: The event was graced by Dr. Krishna Prasad (Director & Medical Oncologist), Dr. Venkataraman Kini (Consultant Radiation Oncologist), Dr. Hemanth Kumar (Consultant Medical Oncologist), and Mrs. Jestalaxmi Boloor (Psychologist & Awareness Coordinator).
  • The Message: Our doctors shared inspiring messages on the advancement of cancer care in India, followed by a light refreshment session for all attendees.

At the main hospital branch in Karangalpady, the ceremony highlighted the essential role of the administrative team in the patient care journey.
