Mangalore Institute of Oncology conducted a health awareness programme for the women at St Sebastian church Permannur

The programme was to create health awareness on cancer and other diseases among women. Mr Rajesh shetty welcomed the gathering. Dr Suresh Rao and Dr Krishna Prasad from Mangalore Institute of Oncology animated the session and gave valuable inputs. This was conducted by the cancer education and awareness cell (CEAC), MIO.

During this programme there was also an awareness session with regard to the government facilities available to women.
