Dr Suresh Rao presented a talk to the staff of LIC, Mangalore division

Dr Suresh Rao, Director of MIO presented a talk on “Cancer on a rise: causes and treatment” to the staff of Life Insurance of Corporation of India (LIC), Mangalore division. The talk addressed aspects on the cause of the most common cancers in the Greater Mangalore region and the most common therapies. The talk also addressed how the life style affects the incidence of head and neck, breast, lung and colorectal cancers. The program was attended by about 100 LIC staff and was well appreciated.
