Continuing Medical Education at Mangalore

Mangalore Institute of Oncology, in association with Family Doctors Association, Mangalore Unit organised a CME programme on Thursday 26^th May 2022 at Hotel Maya International, Kankanady at 7.30 P.M. MIO consultants Dr. Yeseshvi Kilambi, Consultant Nuclear Medicine, Dr. Venkataramana Kini, Consultant Radiation Oncologist, and Dr. Hemanth Kumar, Consultant Medical Oncologist spoke on Role of PET-CT in Oncology, Staging, and Procedures in Cancer and on Role of family Physician in Management of Cancer respectively. Around 80 family doctors attended the program and appreciated the talks and the academic endeavours MIO is taking in training the fraternity in newer aspects of oncology. The program was organised by the cancer education and awareness cell (CEAC) of MIO.
