Cancer Awareness talk at Chattanchal, Kasargod

Dr. MS.Baliga, Senior Radiobiologist and In-charge of research presented a talk on “Cancer of the Breast” at Chattanchal Higher Secondary School, Chattanchal, Kasargod on 12th January 2022. The program was organized by the ”Lions Club International and Lions club of Chandragiri, Kasargod. The program was inaugurated by the Zilla Parishad President Mrs. Sautuja Aboobackar. Dr. Baliga spoke on the increased incidence of cancer of the breast in the Kasargod - Mangalore region thus necessitating screening programs. The program was attended by around 80 students and 25 faculty members of the Chattanchal Higher Secondary School.
